摘要:本研究以精梳棉、长绒棉和棉短绒3种棉浆为研究对象,分析了3种棉浆的打浆历程,研究了3种棉浆的纤维形态、表面形貌在打浆过程中的变化规律,探讨了打浆程度对棉浆比表面积的影响,并比较了3种棉浆纸张物理性能。结果表明,3种棉浆打浆度均随打浆转数增加而增大,当目标打浆度为60 °SR时,精梳棉、长绒棉和棉短绒3种棉浆所需打浆转数分别为30 000、33 000和23 000 r。相同打浆转数时,长绒棉的打浆度和保水值最低、纤维长度最大、比表面积最小,表明长绒棉吸水润胀、分丝帚化程度和横向切断程度低于精梳棉和棉短绒。当精梳棉、棉短绒和长绒棉的打浆度分别为56.6、60.2和59.1 °SR时,长绒棉的抗张指数(36.2 N·m/g)比棉短绒约高34%,其耐破指数(2.60 kPa·m2/g)比精梳棉和棉短绒分别高24%和65%,其撕裂指数(15.0 mN·m2/g)分别是精梳棉和棉短绒的1.9和2.4倍。
Abstract:This study investigated the refining performance of three types of cotton pulps, namely combed cotton, long-staple cotton, and cotton linters, and analyzed the refining process, examines changes in fiber morphology and surface characteristics during refining, evaluated the impact of refining degree on specific surface area, and compared the physical properties of paper sheets made from these pulps. The results showed that the beating degree of the three types of cotton pulp increase with the number of refining revolutions. To achieve a target beating degree of 60 °SR, the required refining revolutions for combed cotton, long-staple cotton, and cotton linters were 30 000, 33 000 and 23 000 r respectively.When the pulping speed was the same, long-staple cotton exhibited the lowest beating degree and water retention value, the longest fiber length, and the smallest specific surface area, indicating lower levels of hydration, fibrillation, and lateral cutting compared to combed cotton and cotton linters. When the beating degrees of combed cotton, cotton linters, and long-staple cotton were 56.6, 60.2, and 59.1 °SR, the tensile index of long-staple cotton (36.2 N·m/g) was about 34% higher than that of cotton linters, the burst index(2.60 kPa·m2/g) was 24% and 65% higher than that of combed cotton and cotton linters, respectively, while the tear index (15.0 mN·m2/g) was 1.9 and 2.4 times greater than those of combed cotton and cotton linters, respectively.
